About JurisIQ
AI isn’t ready to argue your motion. It’s not drafting your discovery responses without supervision. Not yet, anyway.
But it’s already changing how law gets practiced. Document review. Research. Client intake. Contract analysis. The grunt work that eats up billable hours.
And over the next decade? It’s going to upend the entire industry.
JurisIQ exists to track all of it. The good, the bad, and the overhyped. We test tools. We explore applications. We cover what’s actually working in real law firms right now.

About Jon Dykstra, LL.B., MBA
I’m a lawyer who caught the tech bug.
Started as a partner in a personal injury firm. Got tasked with upgrading our tech and marketing.
The results were hard to ignore. We streamlined workflows. Deployed better case management. And 20x’d our lead generation through online marketing.
I liked the tech side more than the courtroom. So I sold my equity and launched a marketing agency for lawyers.
Then AI showed up.
At first, I used it for marketing. The results were ridiculous. But the real aha moment came when I realized AI could transform the actual practice of law, not just the marketing of it.
Now I write about AI in law, study every new development, and consult directly with firms on how to implement it without screwing it up.
My focus: helping lawyers avoid costly mistakes, stay compliant, and leverage AI to run more efficient and profitable practices.
Because here’s the thing. AI is happening whether you’re ready or not.
The question is whether you’ll use it well or get left behind.
